2019 - First Blender rig: Professor

This is the first rig I made back in 2019 during my paid internship at Banzai Studios (formerly known Firewolf Studios) in Hasselt, Belgium.

While I was mostly on board as a concept artist for their edutainment projects, I mostly ended up creating 2D animations and characters, while I also ended up learning how to model and rig a character in Blender. This particular model was supposed to be used as a guide character for a hub of edutainment apps, but the project never took off because of the covid situation. The design was tweaked from a design made by the lead artist of the studio.

There's definitely still a lot I need to learn before I can make professional looking models, but I did like how the model turned out for a first try. The texture files on these are also woefully unoptimized, having individual texture files for every part while it should've been more than possible to combine everything into one texture file. ....but I'm not gonna retroactively change that now.
